Program Details:
The focus and goal of Hockey 1 is to teach beginner ice skaters the fundamentals of ice skating. It’s important for these players to become comfortable on the ice, learn the basic hockey stance, stride, knee bend, use of edges and how to hold a stick before moving onto Hockey 2 – Learn to Play.  Proper skating techniques are the primary focus of the levels. Skaters will learn the necessary ice skating fundamentals to be successful in Hockey 2 - Learn to Play.

In order to complete registration through our secure site, you will be asked for payment so please have your Visa or MasterCard information available.

New to the registration process this year:

  • Medical Release Forms / Code Of Conduct. As you go through the process, you will be asked to fill out these forms during registration rather than at the beginning of the season, again making the start of the season easier on everyone.
  • Volunteer Opportunities. It takes an army to run the SKAHA hockey program every season and we depend on amazing parents like yourself to help out. Whether its through coaching, being a manager or helping on a committee, we hope you will consider donating some extra time this season
